The results for all 117 Punjab assembly seats have been announced. The AAP has won 92 of the 92 seats. The House of Representatives has gained 18 seats. Shiromani Akali Dal has won three seats. The BJP has secured two seats. The BSP was victorious on one seat, while an independent candidate was victorious on another.
In a multi-cornered contest, with key players including the Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Shiromani Akali Dal-Bahujan Samaj Party alliance, and a coalition of Bharatiya Janata Party-former chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh's Punjab Lok Congress and SAD (Sanyukt) led by SS Dhindsa.
